Our CEREC system in Augsburg makes it possible to use your dental replacements in a time-saving, comfortable and highly precise manner. Our solutions include dental crowns, partial crowns, veneers, inlays or bridges. One session is usually sufficient for this.

The procedure is fully digitized and dispenses with unpleasant impression procedures and provisionals. The process can be summarized in four steps:
Scan
After the treatment consultation, a 3D scan is performed. This takes a few minutes and depicts the treatment area with high precision. No waiting time and no uncomfortable spoon imprint.
Design
A 3D visualization is created at the same time as the scan. Due to the extremely high data quality, a custom-fit design of the dental replacement can be created
Production
The data of the design is immediately passed on in-house to our CEREC milling unit, which immediately afterwards automatically manufactures the dental replacement from durable materials. The material of the restoration is then hardened and the color matched to your teeth.
Insertion
In a short amount of time, you can have a dental replacement that fits perfectly, looks natural, and is made from durable materials - all in a single session.

We use an integrated system of hardware and software for our CEREC treatments. Our Dentsply-Sirona scanner is integrated into our software used and reliably delivers 3D data of the highest quality.
The software itself supports the creation of the design with powerful algorithms. The results are then seamlessly transmitted to the manufacturing devices.
This creates an integrated process between scan, design and production which delivers reliable and highly precise results.
Because of this reliability, one session is sufficient for treatment in most cases.

No. The CEREC method has been used since the 1980s.
In recent years, however, new software solutions have come onto the market that are even more powerful and with which even more reliable results can be achieved.
In this area, our practice uses an integrated system from Dentsply-Sirona – one of the largest and most renowned manufacturers of dental products and technologies worldwide.

Our CEREC solution uses ceramic, which is extremely durable and has an abrasion behavior similar to that of natural tooth enamel.
In addition, the starting material is biocompatible, i.e. very well tolerated by the body.
The aesthetic advantage of ceramics is that the color of the material can be individually adjusted, so that the dentures can be perfectly integrated into the natural appearance.

No. Although CEREC treatments require modern devices and technologies, as well as special qualifications from our team, there are also expenses that can be avoided compared with conventional and non-digitalized treatment methods.
For example, there is no longer any need for impression material, as a digital scan of the treatment area is made.
Also, the impression material and the model no longer have to be sent to a laboratory, as processing takes place in the practice's own laboratory.
It is also not necessary to insert temporary restorations and arrange follow-up appointments, since the treatment usually only requires one session.

No. A temporary tooth is not necessary, since the result can usually be used in one session.
